13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, plump rounded facial shape, large blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, black eyeliner, dainty short upper lashes, angled feathered brows with ochre shading, button-shaped nose, closed mouth with watermelon slice-shaped mouth, shaded lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, very plump composition fully jointed toddler body with defined muscles and chubby rolls, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, light retouch on lower arms. Marks: F made in Germany 10 JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: especially pleasing impish expression with very fine sculpting, original wig and body.
