13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with oval-shaped face, elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair with ringlet curls that tumble onto her forehead, the hair decorated with vibrant blue and red flowers and gold leaves, elaborate ringlet curls, sculpted ears, painted blue eyes with deeply set eye sockets, black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, painted blue necklace with blue and gold beading, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, attributed to Conta and Bohne. Value Points: rare petite lady with very unusual hair coronet and fancy necklace.
