Porcelain shoulderhead with oval face and elongated throat, blonde hair waved from face and captured under a black snood, apple- green draped ribbon with gold accents edges the snood, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, smiling expression, muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain lower limbs, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Conta & Boehme, circa 1875. Value Points: charming variation of decoration on the modeled snood lady.
