16" (41 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with sculpted short brown hair in side part and arranged curls, painted blue downcast eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, sculpted shirt with bowtie decorated with blue dots and gilt accents, old muslin body, bisque lower limbs, painted brown ankle boots, wearing gentleman's silk smoking jacket with embroidery, trousers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: very fine detail of hair sculpting, rare brown hair color.
