Description
16" (41 cm.) x 11". A wooden box with decorative paper cover and lettered label "Application du Decalque" hinges open to fitted interior containing an arrangement of porcelain bowls, vases and pitchers, along with various transfer scenes for applying to the porcelain as decoration, and with a paper instruction sheet "Petit Manuel du Decalomanie". Very good condition, some wear to exterior paper cover, one bowl has chip. French, circa 1900.
