Description
6" (15 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on bisque torso,large brown glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,closed mouth,blonde mohair wig,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,painted white socks and black two-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Kling bell symbol). Comments: Kling,circa 1885,in presentation for the French market. Value Points: beautiful all-bisque doll with rare maker's signature,is wearing original dress decorated with a garland of flowers in which is hiding a tiny bisque bunny. Along with the doll (not shown) is an original wooden gilt sleigh with red silk lining,originally presented as a candy container of which this doll was included.
