3" (8 cm.) The matched pair of arm chairs have very detailed sculpting of frames and inset enamel backs and seats with romantic scenes; one back depicts a woman and the other a man, while the seats depict the pair in two different courting scenes. Excellent condition. Austria, late 1800s.
