20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of lady with oval face and elongated throat, sculpted light-brown hair waved away from face in voluminous poufs and braids that are interwoven with elaborate sculpted blue hair ribbons edged with gold, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, painted black flat shoes, fine antique gown, undergarments. Condition: bisque is excellent, new muslin body (limbs are antique with chip on toe of one foot). Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: very rare coiffure with sought-after brown hair, elaborate style, and superb hair ribbons.
