28" (71 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and oil-painted facial features, pale blue side-glancing eyes, dark upper eyeliner with painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, rounded nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, two small water spots on skirt. Comments: Lenci, circa 1930s, their model 950, the doll has stylized ringlet curls in the manner of Shirley Temple. Value Points: rare large Lenci child is wearing her original pink organdy ruffled dress and undergarments. Ex-Collection Billie Nelson Tyrell.
