25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump lower cheeks and chin, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, rounded upturned nose, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with impressed dimples at lip corners, dimpled chin, brunette mohair bobbed wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique boy's costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 14 H 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: deeply-defined facial features highlighted by plump cheeks and chin, dimples.
