13" (33 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of slender-faced lady with elongated throat, sculpted hair in rare shade of brown with eight rows of horizontal rolled curls at the crown and back, feathered details at the sides of face, cobalt blue hair band, sculpted ears, sculpted blue eyes, brown single-stroke brows, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms and legs, painted black flat shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11 (head, arms and legs). Comments: Germany, circa 1870, attributed to Conta and Bohne. Value Points: very rare hair color with blue ribbon, original body, dainty antique costume.
