Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) x 3 1/2". Against a grey background is painted a semi-profile view of a woman with oval face and elongated throat, simply-arranged hair in wide loop over her ears and pulled to the back, and with lace-edged dress trimmed with brooch, set in original frame. Excellent condition. Circa 1840.
