20" (51 cm.) Each has bisque socket head, glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig; the bride with brown eyes, adult-lady shaped composition fully-jointed body with bosom and tiny waist, the groom with blue glass eyes, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: bride excellent, groom has faint hairline on forehead. Marks: 1159 Germany Simon & Habig S&H 7 (bride) S&C Simon & Halbig 50 (groom). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: wearing original exclusively-commissioned costumes, the bride with especially beautiful lace gown in the Edwardian manner, pearls, ivory satin shoes impressed H.H. (in heart).
