Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass googly side-glancing eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with smiling expression, shaded lips, blonde mohair bobbed wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs in chubby toddler shape, painted blue socks and black one-strap shoes, costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiny eye rim flake, small repair on back upper right leg. Marks: 189 1 (head) 1 (legs and arms). Comments: attributed to Hertel and Schwab, circa 1918. Value Points: charming counterpoint of innocence and impishness on the large all-bisque googly.
