27" (69 cm.) Bisque socket head, large hazel-brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth, richly-painted outlined lips with bow-shaped upper lip, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 12 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: especially beautiful color of eyes on the creamy-complexioned bebe, richly painted lips, original body and body finish, fine antique costume.
