18" (46 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulder head of woman with perfectly oval face and elongated throat, black sculpted hair in centerpart looped low over her ears and gracefully gathered back into a three-tiered coiled chignon, painted pale blue eyes, red and brown upper eyeliner, delicate single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, old muslin stitch-jointed body, porcelain lower limbs, painted blue garters and black ankle boots with side lacing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (KPM blue cross swords). Comments: KPM Meissen, circa 1840. The rare early model has fine lustrous complexion and painting.
