20" (51 cm.) Poured wax head in rich honey tone complexion depicting an angular-faced man with strong features, black glass enamel eyes, modeled detail of brows, rounded nose tip, closed mouth, black sculpted and wax hair with wide-rolled curls and ponytail at nape in the 18th century style, original firmly-stuffed cloth body with kid arms, wax legs with painted striped stockings and black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: maker unknown, mid/late 1800s. Value Points: strong presence with distinctive features, well-sculpted hair, and preserved impeccably with original brown woolen jacket and pants with red edging, silk striped vest with gold buttons, black hat.
