12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with richly-shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 3 (head) Bebe Jumeau Depose (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: especially fine quality of creamy bisque and gorgeous eyes, original body and body finish, silk costume and with original Jumeau socks and shoes.
