20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with light brown complexion known as cafe-au-lait, brown glass sleep eyes, painted dark lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair fleecy wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1349 Dressel S&H 8. Comments: Simon and Halbig for Dressel, circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful bisque with original body having original perfectly-matched color, original wig, antique cotton dress, undergarments, stockings, shoes, straw bonnet.
