16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes, thick dark upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full pouting lips, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique dress, undergarments, socks, shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 43. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model "Gretchen" from the firm's art character series, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine modeling of fretful lines around the mouth, most artistic painting of complexion and features, original wig, body, body finish.
