Description
18" (46 cm.) All hard plastic, socket head, jointing at shoulders and hips with walking-style body, green sleep eyes with brush lashes, tosca hair styled with curled bangs and pulled back into two curled clusters at the nape. Wearing a costume in the 1850 manner of slate blue taffeta with side panniers and bustle drapery trimmed with narrow white silk braid and loop-lace, tulle sleevelets, petticoat, pantalets, sheer stockings, black snap shoes, elaborate white lace cap with a top knot of silk flowers that is tied with wide pink silk ribbon, matching pink velvet reticule, and rhinestone earrings. Marks: Madame Alexander (dress tag). Condition: near mint. Madame Alexander, Victoria, model #2030C, from "Me and My Shadow" series of 1954.
