Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted long lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, six tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1896, with original sleeping eye mechanism deposed by Jumeau in that year. Value Points: all original and perfectly preserved, original wig, body, factory chemise, socks and Jumeau shoes signed "Paris Depose 5" with bee symbol.
