8" (20 cm.) All-carved Style I lion with ball-jointed neck under cloth ruff mane, glass eyes, carved open mouth with painted teeth, leather ears, jointed legs, cord tail. Good condition, original finish with some scuffing, some sparseness of mane. Schoenhut, Style I lion, the only example made with cloth mane, circa 1910.
