15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with chubby round face, very large brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, fringed upper lashes, angled feathered brows, button-shaped nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the smiling small lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1918. Value Points: rare googly character, model 131, whose beguiling expression combines mischief and shyness, with especially fine quality of bisque, sculpting and painting, original body and body finish.
