Description
Of burgundy serge, the drop-waist dress features pleats below the hips, button-front with eight gold bead buttons and handmade button holes, coat sleeves, silk cuffs, collar, and skirt band, two open pockets with gold bead buttons, and a rich burgundy hip sash. Along with a woven straw bonnet with high crown and upturned brim, the bonnet decorated with a corsage of red silk flowers and a flounce of burgundy velvet which also covers the inside brim. For 18" doll. 3 1/2" shoulder width. 12" hips. 11" overall length. 6" bonnet width. 2" inside head width. Circa 1880.
