18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with light brown complexion, very full cheeks, brown glass inset eyes, painted dark lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, few typical wig pulls at back of head under wig. Marks: S 10 H 759 Dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1888. Value Points: rare model with flawless facial complexion, original body and body finish, lovely ivory silk costume and bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes.
