15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth modeled as though open with outlined lips, tiny stuck-out tongue, two porcelain upper teeth, brunette human-hair wig, French composition fully jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique chemise. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 247 Paris 6 (head) (original SFBJ label on body). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine quality of modeling, choice bisque, original wig, body, body finish, and preserved in original box with illustration of character baby and "Le Bebe a Tete Caractere".
