Polychromed carved wooden head with angular features, brown deeply-carved hair waved from face into loosely-coiled bun, pierced ears, enamel eyes, parted lips with row of upper teeth, tongue tip, tow-wrapped torso and upper limbs, carved wooden lower limbs, painted bare feet, wearing black taffeta silk gown with gold thread embroidery, rows of tiny glass beads, and a lavish sprinkle of colorful prismatic glass "jewels", undergarments, jewelry, included is wooden chair in which she is seated. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, early-1700s.
