Description
7" (18 cm.) One-piece all-bisque head and torso, chubby face and tummy, blue glass inset side-glancing googly eyes, long painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with watermelon slice smile, impressed lip dimples, blonde mohair wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted blue socks and black one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent, small flake at right back torso shoulder. Marks: 178 18 (head) 18 (inside arms). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, attributed to Hertel and Schwab. Value Points: delightful googly, with wonderful costume and carrying a pom-pom trimmed candy container.
