15" (38 cm.) The wooden table with oval shapely top and fancy spindled pedestal with three legs has a hidden under-latch which allows for tilt-top use as well as flat top, with black ebony finish and gilt and red stenciling and trim. The top has a splendid hand-painted scene of vibrant colorful flowers edged by geometric designs. Generally excellent. French, circa 1865, Napoleon III epoch
