Description
Of fine cream cashmere wool, the dress features a fitted yoke with embroidered cutwork overlay above a very full gathered bodice with embroidered center panel, set-in waist with aqua piping, and full gathered skirt with elaborate ruching. The dress has coat sleeves with wide cuffs which have matching overlay to the yoke. There is additional embroidery at the hem, down the sides of the sleeves and at the neckline. Along with brown woven bonnet decorated with dainty silk flowers and loosely-woven tulle over aqua silk ribbons. For 16"-17" doll. 4" shoulder width. 11" waist. 11" overall length. 5" overall width of bonnet. 3" inside head width. Circa 1885.
