Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked fringed brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Fre A 13 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner Medaille d'Or Paris 1889. (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: especially fine painting of complexion and features on the shy-faced bebe, with original wig, pate, body, body finish, and choice antique dress and matching bonnet, shoes, undergarments.
