14" (36 cm.) All hard plastic, socket head, jointing at hips and shoulders, sleep eyes with brush lashes, closed mouth, ash- brown wig captured in original hair net. Wearing Victorian-style gown with green velvet bodice decorated with gold braid trim, tiered coral taffeta skirt with black lace edging, green felt bonnet with black tulle, gold braid, and white net trim, petticoat, pantalets, stockings, and black shoes. Marks: Godey Lady Madame Alexander (dress tag). Condition: generally excellent, some light fading to skirt. Madame Alexander, a rare variation costume from the "Godey" series presented in the 1950 catalog.
