18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with unusual cut pate at back of head, very high domed forehead and crown, rounded plump face, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, shaded eye corners and nostrils, slightly-parted lips with double row of tiny teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition body with jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, wearing pretty antique dress, undergarments, bonnet, cream kidskin ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1880. Value Points: most endearing gentle expression with delicate blush on eyelids and cheeks, tiny teeth.
