Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, thick brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 18 made in Germany O (head) Excelsior Germany 8 (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: rare luxury size, rarity factors include closed mouth, original signed Excelsior body with original finish, gorgeous elongated mohair wig.
