Description
4" (10 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure of gentleman, posed standing with legs askance, head uptilted, and having sculpted and painted bridegroom costume with tophat and cane, and with painted facial features on the over-sized head including googly side-glancing eyes and "O" shaped mouth. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1915, designed by the children's book illustrator Chloe Preston. Value Points: rare little all-bisque by named artist, great expression.
