Of narrow ribbed white pique the sleeves edged with cutwork, row of pearl buttons down the front, three tiers of cotton cutwork at the lower skirt and elaborate banding extending down the back. Along with a woven straw hat with upturned brim, and a wooden handled parasol with patterned silk cover and rare figural dog head handle. 8" shoulder width. 5" inside head width. 17" parasol length. Excellent condition. French, circa 1885.
