Description
Of rich burgundy silk sateen, the dress features a fitted yoke above a full gathered dress and very full sleeves. The dress is edged with a wide ruffle forming into an all-around Bertha collar which is accented by maroon silk streamers. Along with an elaborately woven bonnet with rounded crown and wide upturned brims, decorated with a generous cluster of berries and leaves, and an ivory satin richly draped bow. For 23" doll. 5" shoulder width. 14" overall length. 8" width of hat. 4" inside head width. Circa 1890.
