6 1/2" (17 cm.) All-wooden hyena, socket head, glass eyes, carved open mouth with painted teeth, leather ears, jointed legs, rope tail, original painted ochre-color coat with black stripes. Excellent condition. Schoenhut, 1909, from Teddy's Adventures in Africa series, the hyena is one of the rarest animals to find today.
