17" (43 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead turned to the right, very plump cheeks and chin, blonde sculpted hair in short tousled curls, fully sculpted ears, cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms, black velvet costume with lace collar. Condition: generally excellent, one thumb chipped. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: very handsome face with deeply sculpted hair, fine quality of bisque, well-defined eye decoration.
