20" (51 cm.) Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, very full cheeks and chin, almond-shaped deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes with darker iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted dark curly lashes, mauve-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, accented eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid plump proportioned body with gusset jointing, bisque forearms with separately sculpted fingers and hands. Condition: generally excellent. Original paint skip on on right back shoulder plate. Marks: A 8 T (head and shoulders). Comments: Andre Thuillier, early period bebe from the illustrious firm, circa 1880. Value Points: outstanding model of bebe has gorgeous bisque and painting, very deep eyes, sturdy original body, perfect bisque hands, and fine original ivory silk and lace dress, beautiful bone-handled folding fan, antique undergarments, bonnet, leather shoes.
