Beautifully-woven sewing basket with gilded finish has green silk cushion with embroidered floral designs on the lid, velvet and silk fringe encircling the sides, and a very luxurious interior lined with aqua silk and with deeply-tufted silk inside lid. Excellent, very fresh condition of the luxurious sewing basket. French, circa 1890.
