13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, shaded lips, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body. Condition: generally excellent, body especially firm. Marks: 3 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: perfectly preserved doll with original wig, pate, body, Jumeau earrings and wearing original folklore costume and elaborate coiffe.
