5" (13 cm.) x 4" The set of eight watercolors depicts fashionable ladies in various scenes, mostly posed in profile, and with elaborate detail of their stylish costumes, including bride, two women in costumes for the ball, woman at archery, woman boating, lady for a stroll with parasol and dog, lady acrobat, and lady ballerina. Several are lettered SF in lower corner. In set of matching frames. Beautiful detail of image and costume. Late 19th century.
