Description
2" (5 cm.) -4". 7" overall puppets. Each has cloth face with hand-painted features, including five baby fairies with blonde hair and cherub wings, and two girls with very stylized flowing blonde and green hair, knee-high wrapped leggings, floral-shaped costumes, posable body, attached to metal puppet rod and circle base. Excellent condition. Germany, BAPS, late 1940s, the pieces were likely a special commission by Huguette Clark.
