13" (33 cm.) l. framed. Presented within an oval walnut frame with brass inner edging is a very fine silk thread embroidery on linen depicting two young girls seated in a forest like setting, with details of plants, trees and flowers and two deer in the background. Excellent condition. Early 1800s.
