28" (71 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial modeling and very plump cheeks,blue glass sleep eyes,dark eyeliner,long painted curly lashes,short feathered brows,impressed accented nostrils,open mouth,outlined lips,for porcelain upper teeth,brunette human hair,composition bent limb baby body,antique baby gown. Marks: made in Germany 99/17. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Konig and Warnecke,circa 1918. Value Points: likely the largest size of the character baby,the large size allowing for fabulous expression of character features,enhanced by fine luminous complexion,wonderful original body and body finish.
