10" (25 cm.) Carved all-wooden doll with swivel head and sculpted brown hair in bun, carved and painted facial features, brown eyes, solemn expression, jointing at shoulders, hips and knees, wearing original country costume. Generally excellent. Swiss, 1930s, the gift to Shirley Temple may have been inspired by her role in the film "Heidi".
