Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,feathered brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,ears pierced into head,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees,kid-over-wooden upper arms,bisque arms to above the elbows,cupped fingers. Condition: generally excellent,thumb reglued on left hand. Comments: French,circa 1865,transitional model with slender face than earlier model,yet still presented with cobalt eyes. Value Points: pretty bright-eyed child fashion doll is wearing red woolen and cotton ensemble with red wool ruffled bavolet bonnet,undergarments,leather boots,bone fan with fretwork.
