Description
16" (41 cm.) All-wooden doll, socket head, brown sleep eyes, painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with four painted teeth, brunette mohair wig, spring-jointed wooden arms and legs, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17, 1911, USA (oval paper label). Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1918. Value Points: the rare sleep-eyed model has fine original finish, wearing pretty antique dress, and carries her own carved wooden toy lamb by Schoenhut.
